1. Who we are

StockStay ("we", "our", "us") is a web-based software service that helps short-term rental hosts track consumable stock levels across their properties. Our website is stock-stay.app.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use StockStay:

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth)
• Profile data: business name, number of listings, and app preferences such as theme
• Property and item data: property names, addresses, photos, item lists, and stock levels you enter
• Checklist submissions: stock level reports submitted by cleaners, including optional names and notes
• Billing information: subscription plan and payment details processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, and timestamps, collected to improve the service
• OAuth data: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the StockStay service
• To send restock alert emails when cleaners report low or out-of-stock items
• To send push notifications via ntfy.sh if you opt in
• To process subscription payments and manage your billing
• To respond to support requests
• To improve the product based on usage patterns

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate StockStay:

• Supabase — database and authentication (privacy policy)
• Stripe — payment processing (privacy policy)
• Resend — transactional email (privacy policy)
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure (privacy policy)
• ntfy.sh — optional push notifications (privacy policy)

5. Cleaner checklist links

Each property has a unique checklist link that can be shared with cleaners. These links do not require a login. Anyone with the link can submit a checklist for that property. If you share a link, you are responsible for who you share it with. You can regenerate the link at any time from your property settings to invalidate old links.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data

8. Cookies

We use cookies solely to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Children

StockStay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the app. Continued use of StockStay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
