Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using StockStay ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and StockStay.

2. Description of service

StockStay is a subscription-based software tool that allows short-term rental hosts and property managers to track consumable stock levels, share checklist links with cleaning staff, and receive restock alerts. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@stock-stay.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

4. Subscription and billing

  • StockStay is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Pricing is listed on our website and may change with 30 days notice.
  • New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No charge is made until the trial ends.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of the billing period.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts with failed payments after reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works based on the Service
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Exceed the property limits of your subscription plan

6. Cleaner checklist links

You are solely responsible for how you share and manage your property checklist links. These links grant access to submit stock reports for your property without a login. You should treat them as you would a physical key — only share with trusted individuals. We are not responsible for unauthorized submissions resulting from shared or leaked links. You can regenerate a new link at any time to revoke old access.

7. Your content

You own all data you enter into StockStay, including property names, item lists, and photos. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

8. Availability and uptime

We aim to keep StockStay available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by maintenance, third-party infrastructure failures, or events outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

StockStay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockStay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
